While Macron Schmoozes with the king of the castle of Windsor, the United Kingdom and the EU should seal a defense and security pact at a London summit on May 19 to stimulate military spending across Europe.
While the defense served as the first waterproof in efforts to rebuild UE-UK’s links, its implications on the trade profession are important, because the pact could open the way for new negotiations such as an agrifood standards to reduce commercial bureaucracy and EU plans as improved mobility for young people and students.
In fact, the Pact Defense depends on the question of whether the United Kingdom will make concessions on fishing rights in English waters for EU fleets.
The two parties should use the meeting next month to achieve a common understanding of the problems that will be part of the revival of relations with the United Kingdom and the EU of Starmer.
On the other side of the Atlantic, Trump recently suggested that he would visit Great Britain in September, after Starmer extended an invitation from King Charles during his visit to Washington in February.
Trump has been in recent weeks to slap the high prices in countries around the world, including 10% of tasks for British and EU products at all levels. The American president supported the break button on other heavier reciprocal rates to give space to negotiate new commercial transactions.
