While detailing the burial of his family for his brother Geoffrey “Geoff” Stirling Jr.who was shot dead during a confrontation with the police after a traffic stop, the Real Housewives of Orange County The alum shared what she comforts herself in the middle of her current grief.
“Yesterday, we put my brother to rest. Barely six months ago, we stood in the same place, crying the loss of my mother,” wrote Lydia, 44, on Instagram on May 5 alongside a photo of her brother and the video of family members freeing from Colombes to the cemetery. “My heart is broken and the shock has still not settled.”
“But even in sorrow, I cling to what I know is true: God is good. He is in control. I am not, ”she continued. “My brother is now with my mother, and I hold the promise that one day, we will all be gathered. Until then, I miss they every day. ”
Geoff was shot dead following a confrontation with the police during a traffic stop in southern California on April 17.
