The Ballon d’Or Modric winner now has a minority participation in Swansea, and many people still wonder why a player with such a huge profile would invest in a second division club in the United Kingdom. Why did Modric join Swansea?
The new American owners of Swansea, who took care of last November, would have sought someone with a big football name to help attract the world’s attention to the club. They wanted someone who had a real football experience and could help the club develop their profile.
