The stormy time delayed the Friday evening match between the Tigers and the Bulldogs for more than two hours. LSU won match 2-1.
LSU struck the first with a solo home run by Ethan Frey during the second round.
After the state of the Mississippi equaled match 1-1 in the fourth round, LSU responded at the end of the fifth when Luis Hernandez hit a solo circuit on the left ground for a 2-1 advance.
The launcher starting from the LSU, Anthony Eyanson, launched five rounds and granted five strokes and one point. Eyanson withdrew 12 of the 23 strikers he faced.
Thursday, the Tigers returned to a 6-2 deficit with a fifth round of five points on the way to an 8-6 victory against the Bulldogs in the first match in the series.
An explosion of three points by the second goal Daniel Dickinson and a two-point circuit from the Steven Milam stop stated the victory for the return of the tigers.
