Linda Gilbert, 64, was found with multiple stab wounds.
A Lowell woman was stabbed to death in her own home late Sunday night.
At 11.19pm on Sunday, Lowell Police responded to the home of Linda Gilbert, 64, on Loring Street, according to a statement from the office of Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan.
Officers had been called to a report of an “unresponsive woman”. Gilbert was found with multiple stab wounds.
She was transported to Lowell General Hospital, where she was pronounced dead. During an autopsy on Monday, the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner ruled his death a homicide.
No arrests were made.
