Max Holloway is not the only one in his family with serious punching power.
During a recent trip to South Korea, Holloway joined a friend and a post opponent Sun sung jung Aka “The Korean Zombie” to explore the views and sounds of Jung’s native country. Among the many activities – many of which were shared on the respective social media accounts of the combatants – involved a visit to an arcade, which was included in a vlog published Friday by Holloway.
As you would expect, Holloway and Jung tested their power on a punch game, but the result was not what one or the other UFC star could have expected.
Look at the competition below.
Holloway behaved better than Zombie, just as he did when they had a memorable fight at the UFC Kallang in August 2023. This fight of main events was presented as the Zombie swan song and of course, Holloway sent him to his shield with a lively third round elite.
Their punching machine duel was not as explosive, Holloway managing a slightly higher score the first time, then easily beating Zombie who surprisingly flopped on his second attempt (Holloway joked saying that Zombie broke the machine).
The torsion occurred when Holloway’s wife, the pro alessi Quizon surfer, intervened on the plate and chased it out from the park, figuratively. Quizon struck the bag of punching machine and ended up with a score that exceeded his former husband champion of featherweights, to the delight of all those who look.
In his illustrious career, Holloway has the tastes of zombie, Justin Gaethje,, Jose Aldo,, Anthony PettisAnd Brian OrtegaBut you can bet that Quizon will gladly keep rights to boast about him for the rest of their lives.
The Holloway Vlog also had a lot of food and that “Beni” joked that it concerned the victory and the zombie restaurants could prevent it from doing the UFC 318 Main Light event on July 19, when Holloway is again called upon to close the career of a counterpart, that of the legendary Dustin Poirier.
“The Korean zombie trying to kill me,” said Holloway after having ingested spicy food, adding later: “This trip was so fun and we arrive at Welter weights. So Dana (white), who you have to blame, call the Korean zombie because I don’t know if I do ’55 at any time.”
