In the weekend’s respective league fixtures, Lokomotiv Moscow’s title aspirations took a knock as they lost to bottom side Rotor, while Bayern continue to demolish opponents, putting five past Eintracht Frankfurt with Robert Lewandowski registering his 11th Bundesliga hat-trick. The pole will be confident he can add to his impressive haul of goals this evening against a side who have conceded two goals in their last six Champions League fixtures.

Both sides will be looking to build on positive results last week with the home side playing out an entertaining 2-2 draw with Salzburg and Bayern recording a surprisingly comfortable 4-0 victory over Atletico Madrid.
