The charges signed the tight end Jordan Petaia on Wednesday, the team announced.
He joined the team as part of the international training program for NFL players.
Petaia trained in the IPP program for 10 weeks at the IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida, culminated by presenting his skills during a professional day at the University of Florida du Sud on March 26.
Originally from Melbourne, Australia, Petaia appeared in a pair of rugby world cuts (2019 in Japan and 2023 in France) for Wallabies, becoming the youngest Australian to play during a World Cup in 2019 at 18.
Internationally, Petaia has played 31 tests with Australia since 2019, totaling 40 points. He played his club Ruby for the Reds of Queensland, making his debut in 2018 as the youngest player of the club and playing in a total of 58 tests.
The IPP program, created in 2017, is designed to offer elite athletes from around the world with experience in other sports the possibility of improving and developing their skills to win a place on a list of NFL.
