There is now a statement from the North West Ambulance Service.

He says: “Following information reporting a road collision”, his crews deal with the incident in downtown Liverpool.

“We are currently assessing the situation and working with other emergency services,” added the press release.

“Our priority is to ensure that people receive the medical help they need as quickly as possible.”
