Ukrainian drones targeted a military airfield and an oil depot in Russia, a Ukrainian military source said on Saturday, August 3, after Russia announced that it had shot down 76 drones. “Last night, drones of the Ukrainian Security Service visited the Morozovsk airfield in the Rostov region”where aircraft and guided aerial bombs are stored, the Ukrainian source said, adding that “Ukrainian drones did a great job hitting the aerial munitions depot”.

Later, in his daily statement, the Ukrainian head of state congratulated his forces. “I would like to thank each of our soldiers and all those who work in our defense industry for striking Russian airfields, oil refineries and logistics facilities.”he wrote, adding that “Every strike of this type brings us closer to the end of the war”.
