Cassie Ventura said that once she started going out with Sean “Diddy” Combs, she broke the ties with her management company, who also managed her former boyfriend.
After the trip to Miami, she said that she had fallen in love with Combs.
“I have traveled with him everywhere. I was in studios. I was like (her) little shadow for a little while, “she said.
Ventura said that in this stage, the relationship was “fun”, describing it as her “first adult adult and real relationship”. She also noted that the Combs lifestyle was “very different” from hers.
“He had assistants to his beck and the call. He could do anything quickly. He had respect for everyone. He traveled a little,” said Ventura.
Ventura testified that early, she was “just in love with him”. But later, she began to “live another side of him, which was his abusive side”.
She said that Combs was “very controlled on my life and the things I wanted to do, but there was still love there.”
“The control was everything, the way I turned to what I worked on that day, to whom I was talking about. Control was somehow a versatile thing at a certain point,” she said.
