Live Stock Market Updates | Nifty 50 closed 475 points from its record high on Thursday.

Overnight, the Dow Jones gave up gains of more than 250 points to finish lower after briefly crossing the 40,000 point mark. The Nasdaq and S&P 500 also ended the session with losses of 0.2% each.

Asian stocks opened broadly lower today. Stocks in Japan and Australia fell, while Hong Kong futures pointed to early gains.
