Gaza continues to suffer from a seat, while Israeli demonstrators increased efforts on Wednesday to stifle the already restricted aid supply.
The demonstrators closed the crossing of Karem Abu Salem, the only functional entry point for humanitarian aid, to require a complete stop of the relief shipments in the devastated enclave.
According to Israel National News, the demonstration was organized by far -right movements “Tzav 9” and “Miluimnikim – generation of victory”, which claim that the aid deliveries undergo the war effort of Israel and benefit Hamas.
The demonstration intervened after 93 trucks were allowed to cross the crossing one day earlier, even a good number below what humanitarian agencies say that say they are avoiding famine.
“This is an unimaginable injustice,” said Reut Ben Chaim de Tzav 9. “We cannot remain silent while this evil for our hostages continues. The people of Israel will come and stop this atrocity and the strengthening of a terrorist group.”
The Israeli reserve soldier Ashriel Machlev of the Miluimnikim group added: “It is not humanitarian – it is national suicide and its humanitarian ammunition … We will be here every week – hundreds of reservists ready to physically block this madness.”
Israel faces an increasing international conviction for its grip on Aid to Gaza, where health officials warn against imminent famine and the UN described conditions as “catastrophic”.
A new Channel 13 survey revealed that more than half of Israeli respondents – 53% – oppose the authorization of humanitarian aid in Gaza, even if the conditions in the besieged enclave continue to deteriorate and the UN prevents to deepen the famine in the band.
