Listen to his second solo album

BTS’ RM is officially a two-time solo album artist. The K-pop star’s second album, Right place, wrong person, arrived Friday, May 24, bringing with it 11 new tracks for fans to enjoy amid the band’s military obligations.

Led by the single “Come Back to Me”, Right place, wrong person also features the alternative songs “Nuts”, “Groin”, “Heaven”, “LOST!” and more. Overall, the LP reflects a “raw and honest presentation of RM’s distinctive sensibilities, aesthetics and beliefs”, according to a release from BigHit, and follows the South Korean artist’s debut album from 2022. Indigowhich reached number three on the Billboard 200.

Ahead of the new album’s arrival, RM revealed several concept photos to get fans excited for the project. According to another release, the work was intended to capture the born star Kim Namjoon as an “ordinary individual in everyday, relatable settings, enjoying moments of freedom – a departure from the glamorous persona he portrays on stage.”

Snaps directly reflect the material on Right place, wrong personwhich captures the singer-dancer’s feeling of being “an outsider who doesn’t fit in,” as stated in Weverse’s April album announcement.

RM and his BTS bandmates Jin, SUGA, J-Hope, Jimin, V and Jung Kook are currently serving in the South Korean military, which imposes an 18-month military enlistment for all able-bodied males before the age of 28 years. few members pursued various solo projects during their service, and the entire group plans to reunite again for group activities in 2025.
