The Lions locked themselves up in All-Pro Kerby Joseph security.
Joseph and the Lions have agreed with an extension of a four -year contract today, according to Ian Rapoport from NFL Network.
The contract would have made Joseph the best paid security in the NFL to $ 21.5 million per year.
Joseph was a security of Big Ten in Illinois that the Lions selected in the third round of the NFL 2022 draft. He led the Ligue in interceptions and was a first All-Pro team last year, and the Lions decided to have it sign it in an extension, while it goes around the last year of its recruit contract.
With the lions that came out of the best two -year race that the franchise has had since the 1950s, they try to keep a core of players together that can deliver the team its first Super Bowl. They hope that Joseph will be part of it.
