Lionel Richie reveals if he would do a reality show with children Sofia and Nicole

Lionel Richie is no stranger to the spotlight, but he’s unsure if he wants it to follow him home.

After the season 21 finale of american idol, E! News exclusively got the inside scoop on whether the All night long singer, father of Nicholas And Sofia Richiewould never let his family be the focus of a new reality show.

“Let me tell you this: Living with my kids is a reality show that I’ve been trying to forget for a long time,” the 73-year-old joked on the May 22 episode of E! News. “So presenting it to the public right now would be something called post-traumatic syndrome.”

Nicole, 41, is no stranger to reality TV. She played in simple life next to Paris Hiltonthen had his own show in 2014, Candidly nicoleon which Sofia, 24, made occasional appearances.

“You know, my kids, they have a trip. They’re used to this thing called ‘all your stuff, every day on the street,'” Lionel continued. “I’m a little more reserved so I’ll let them do their thing and Papa Richard can go home and enjoy the fireplace for a bit.” (See more of Lionel’s interview on tonight’s episode of E !
