Washington’s capital had a late match against Seattle Kraken on Thursday evening. The winner of the match would go up 4-3 in the match of all time between the two teams.
Aliaksei Protas gave the capital’s advantage in the second period. Ethen Frank doubled this advance, ending his own rebound on a breakaway. Alex Ovechkin tidyed up with the empty net to conclude the case.
Capitals beat Kraken 3-0!
- The capital was very hot in the first period, playing some of their best hockey that I saw in a few weeks. They jumped everywhere in Seattle in the first 5 to 8 minutes, but then really slowed down during the median part of the first third. They then took it over for a few more minutes, then slowed down again to end the period. However, they still locked their own area, even in the poorest phases of the period. It’s good to see.
- Martin Fehervary A goal has been removed from the table because Nicolas Dowd was offside on an area entrance. Not only was I bored by the fact that Dowd is getting lost in the early area, but Seattle feels good for a marty party. The guy loves fishing. He may be the most “Seattle” of current capital.
- Speaking of capital and Seattle, it’s nice to see André Bourakovski,, Chandler StephensonAnd Philipp Grubauer. Their contributions to the Stanley 2018 Cup are forever engraved in the history of DC sports.

- Second absolutely phenomenal period when the capital dominated all the facets of the game with five against five. Seattle did not succeed in a goal in the context before more than 15 minutes has already passed. The four lines and the three defensive pairs came into action.
- Aliaksei Protas scored his 20th goal of the season to give a 1-0 lead to Washington. Protas scores 20 goals for the first time in his NHL career and also reached the 40 -point set. If Pierre-Luc Dubois does not exist this season, I think that the big pro is the MVP of the team in front.
- Difficult to see Fehervary fall after sending the washer to the face. He was fleeing strong enough on the ice and went directly to the tunnel. The Slovak defender, however, returned for the third period.
- Ethen Frank once again used these rockets in her skates to create a chance to escape and her third goal in the NHL. According to Tarik El-Bashir, since Frank made his debut in the NHL, he is the top scorer in the capital with three goals in seven games.
There are only 15 minutes for Capitals X Kraken. Aguentem firm, babies!

- Charlie Lindgren returned to the Washington camp and was spectacular. The team in front of him was excellent but he still had to make his share of beautiful stops. This is the first bleaching of Chuckie since its performance of 16 stops against Boston Bruins on April 15.
- Alex Ovechkin scored his 22nd goal of the season in an empty cage. He only misses 19 goals to match Wayne Gretzky for the record for goals of all time.
- What do you think of these movements behind the net of Jakob Chychrun late in regulation? Dipsy Doo, how are you?
- Climate Pledge Arena is at the top of my list of visits. It seems to be a really nice place to attend a match.

Capitals will continue their road trip against Vancouver Canucks on Saturday evening. Will JT Miller always be a cannuck by then? We will see.
