She added: “It’s a difficult childhood memory. Edward is the good guy and Nosferatu is the bad guy, but there’s a part of me that feels a little bit of empathy for Nosferatu. I mean, am I sick to feel that?”

Depp stars as Ellen Hutter in Robert Eggers’ remake of “Nosferatu,” based on Bram Stoker’s 1897 novel “Dracula.” Ellen has a psychic connection to the vampire Nosferatu.

When asked if Lily-Rose and her father – who has long worked with Tim Burton in the supernatural realm – shared an affinity for the genre, the model admitted there was comfort in goth culture.

“Sure, I guess you could say that,” Depp said. “We’re very different actors, but of course you’re a product of your environment, and that’s a world that’s always been very interesting to me.”

Depp has worked in the entertainment and modeling industry for years and has long denied his baby nepo status.

“Every job comes with a set of circumstances, and this (fame) is one of them,” Depp recently told Daily Telegraph. “The importance for me has been maintaining a sense of privacy and grounding and protecting (what) is truly yours.”

She added: “People are interested in things that they shouldn’t necessarily be interested in and… an actor’s job is to get into a character and blend in and make the audience believe that you are this character.

“To do this, it’s important to protect a sense of anonymity. They’re not expected to know you well, because you want them to believe you as other characters.”

Depp has starred in many films, including “Crisis”, “Voyagers”, “Silent Night” and “Wolf”. Last year she headlined the HBO series “The Idol” alongside Abel Tesfaye, better known as the singer The Weeknd.

Depp discussed “baby nepo” debated in an interview with Elle magazine last year.

“The Internet seems to be very interested in this sort of thing,” she said. “People are going to have preconceived notions about you or how you got there, and I can definitely say that nothing is going to get you the role unless you’re right for the role.

“The Internet cares a lot more about who your family is than the people who get you started in things. Maybe you get your foot in the door, but you still just get your foot in the door. There’s a lot of work that comes after that.”
