LGBTQ+ health equity in Pima County at center of public event

An in-person community listening session focused on health equity for LGBTQ+ people is hosted by the Southern Arizona AIDS Foundation in conjunction with the Arizona Department of Health Services.
The session, which will focus on how health and wellness needs are met and how access can be improved, will take place from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, March 28. Participation will be limited to 30 people. Entrants must be 18 years or older, live in Pima County, and identify as a member of the LGBTQ+ community.
Participants will provide feedback on how health and wellness programs meet their needs and help leaders learn how to increase community involvement in planning new programs and messages.
Refreshments will be served and participants will receive a $25 gift card in exchange for their time. The session will take place at the SAAF’s Thornhill Lopez Center on 4th, located at 526 N. Fourth Ave., with free parking available along Fourth Avenue after 5:00 p.m.
