Lewis Hamilton described the claims he started losing confidence in his new Ferrari team after only two races of the 2025 season as “complete garbage”.
The seventh world of life with the Scuderia has been a nightmare since its highly anticipated Mercedes change in summer.
Hamilton is seated ninth with only nine points in his name in the driver’s ranking before the Japanese Grand Prix of this weekend after having finished a disappointing 10th in the opening of the season in Australia.
The Briton rebounded to win the Sprint race in Shanghai a week later, but he and his teammate Charles Leclerc were disqualified from the main race for excessive board wear on their cars.
Sky Sports F1 expert and former Aston Martin strategist, Bernie Collins, said that disqualification “adds to the lack of confidence” between Hamilton and his new team.

“I saw someone said something about the question of whether I lose faith with the team that is full garbage,” said the 40 -year -old player.
“I have an absolute 100% faith in this team. There was obviously a huge amount of media threshing at the start of the year and I don’t know if everyone expected that we win one and win a championship in the first year.
“I come to a new culture, a new team and it will take time.
“I did not feel any frustration after – that’s what it is. Of course, we went through everything in the factory and (there was) a lot of learning. We take the ups and downs together.
