RC Lens is finalizing the arrival of Brice Samba’s replacement, awaiting departure for Rennes. The club is currently negotiating the final details of the contract which should allow Pau Lopez to sign on loan with an option to buy. It is therefore a number 1 goalkeeper who should arrive at the Sang et Or, which will once again push Hervé Koffi to the bench.
On the other hand, the Sang et Or will not cover the entire salary of the Spaniard estimated at 280,000 euros gross per month. Under contract with OM until 2026, Pau Lopez was loaned during the first part of the season to Girona, where he only played one Copa del Rey match.
