The promotion of Leeds in the Premier League was confirmed Monday evening after Burnley beat Sheffield United in a crunch championship confrontation.
Daniel Farke’s team was on the verge of their promotion confirmed after their match the same day, the leaders of the league swing Stoke 6-0 in Elland Road in a previous match.
This meant that the whites only needed Sheffield United to avoid victory in the evening match, and they did it – also at their expense.

United must now turn their attention to put an end to the season before a dam campaign in their attempt to return to the Premier League during the first request. They are eight points drifting from Burnley with 44 games played.
