LeBron James left the Lakers defeat to the Celtics on Saturday evening with a groin injury, and he could be ready for a prolonged extent on the sidelines.
James left the game with 6:44 and did not return, and Dave McMenamin d’Espn later reported that “initial thought” is the quadruple MVP will be sidelined for weeks rather than days.
The report cited an anonymous source as providing for this prediction, although McMenamin has covered that it is “too early to project a specific calendar” for James.
Nevertheless, fans of the Lakers were sweating on the health of the star after the sequence of eight consecutive victories of the team was broken by Boston.
James previously missed 17 consecutive competitions after a groin tear on Christmas Day in 2018.
However, he said that after 111-101’s defeat of his team against Boston, he thought that this injury was less serious.
