The U.S. men’s basketball team gathered in Las Vegas this weekend to begin training for the Paris Olympics, which begin later this month.
This meant that LeBron James was unable to attend his son (and new teammate) Bronny James’ first NBA Summer League game in person.
That doesn’t mean LeBron didn’t get to watch the highlights. Cameras caught LeBron watching his son’s videos, including his first basket on an acrobatic layup.

But it wasn’t all rosy for Bronny on Saturday. He struggled from the field, hitting just two of nine field goal attempts for four points and finishing tied for the team’s worst rating (-15) in a 108-94 loss to the Sacramento Kings.
The Lakers Summer League team is back in action Sunday night against the Golden State Warriors.
