Washington (AP)-LeBron James collected 24 points and 11 assists before resting for the last quarter of the Routing 134-96 of the Los Angeles Lakers on Thursday evening.
While James sat down, his son Bonny played the whole fourth quarter and scored a quarry summit of five points – a development that delighted the crowd, even on the road.
It was the 16th consecutive defeat for Washington, linking a franchise record. This is the second time this season that Wizards have dropped as much.
This one was never close after the first minutes, even if the Lakers lacked Anthony Davis due to abdominal muscle tension. Washington was without recruit Alex Sarr, who had a sprained ankle.
