German police on Easter Sunday was still looking for the shooters or shooters responsible for the double murder in the western city of Bad Nauheim one day before.
The suspect killed two people in a residential address in the city on Saturday evening. Bad Nauheim is around 35 kilometers (about 22 miles) north of the German financial capital, Francfurt.

German police said that a 59 -year -old man and his 28 -year -old son -in -law were killed during the shooting. The two victims were Turkish nationals.
The victims were not previously known to the police.
Police said that they could not exclude if more than one suspect could be involved in the murder.

German mass circulation daily Ball reported that the Sek had arrested two men in the neighboring city of Nidderau-Erbstadt after the shooting, but the authorities later released them because it turned out that they had nothing to do with crime.
The German authorities believe that a “personal reason” has played a role in murder. Police said they thought the public was not in danger after the shooting.
At the same time, the German local media Hessenschau reported that local residents had been invited not to take hitchhiking in the region.

The local government of Bad Nauheim published its condolences online on Sunday, saying “our thoughts concern the victims and our families”.
“Despite the impact of the tragic act on our holidays today, let’s remember that Easter is a powerful symbol of hope and renewal,” said the post. “Take the opportunity to remember the power of the new beginnings, especially in difficult times.”
