Frenchwoman Le Pen says she will dismantle wind turbines if elected
Far-right French presidential candidate Marine Le Pen said on Thursday she would end all renewable energy subsidies and cut French wind turbines if elected next year. Le Pen, who will be the National Rally candidate in the April ballot, has qualified for the second round of the 2017 election, and is expected to do so again, although some recent polls have shown the talk show of Right star Eric Zemmour could beat her if he decides to show up. Environment Minister Barbara Pompili rejected Le Pen’s statement on Twitter.
