Documents indicate Gonzalez arrived on the sidewalk. While the two men managed to avoid being hit by the truck, one of the women was struck and appeared to be pinned against a business wall as her four companions attempted to push the truck – which was still on the way. When the trapped woman managed to free herself, Gonzalez reversed and ran over the foot of one of the men.

Police arrested Gonzalez on April 27 when he left his home to check his mailbox. Documents say police were able to identify him as a suspect because he used a credit card to pay for a parking meter at Town Square and entered his license plate number when making the purchase.

Gonzalez remains in custody at the Clark County Detention Center. He is being held on $150,000 bail. His next court appearance is June 11.
