Lamorne Morris Joins Amazon Series as Robbie Robertson

Actor-comedian Lamorne Morris (Fargo) was cast as a series regular opposite Nicolas Cage in Spider-Black, MGM+ and Prime Video’s upcoming live-action series based on the Marvel comics Spider-Man Noir. On the television series produced by Sony Pictures, which was renamed after its original title Black To highlight his lineage in the Spider-Man universe, Morris will play the character of Robbie Robertson.

Harry Bradbeer is set to direct and produce the first two episodes of the series, which Uziel and Lightfoot developed with the team behind Spider-Man: Into the Spider-VersePhil Lord, Christopher Miller and Amy Pascal, who also serve as executive producers. Spider-Black will debut domestically on MGM+’s linear channel and then globally on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories.
