Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson and Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen top the list of finalists for the Most Valuable Player award, the NFL and The Associated Press announced Thursday .
They are joined by Detroit quarterback Jared Goff, who helped the Lions go 15-2, Eagles running back Saquon Barkley, who had 2,005 rushing yards, and quarterback Bengals Joe Burrow who led the NFL with 4,918 passing yards and 43 touchdowns.
Jackson led the NFL with a 119.6 passer rating, and Allen posted a 101.4 passer rating while leading the Bills to a 13-4 record and an AFC East championship.
The NFL also announced the finalists for Rookie of the Year. The group includes Las Vegas Raiders tight end Brock Bowers, Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels, New York Giants receiver Malik Nabers, Jacksonville Jaguars receiver Brian Thomas Jr. and Denver Broncos quarterback Bo Nix.
The winners of these awards, the NFL’s Walter Payton Man of the Year and the Pro Football Hall of Fame Class of 2025, will be announced at the NFL Honors Ceremony on February 6 at the Saenger Theater in New Orleans.
