Madame de “Mayhem” Lady Gaga was again on the main stage of Coachella on Friday evening for the second weekend of the event, and she did not leave momentary technical problems to stop her.
As she did the first weekend of the Mega-Fest in Indio, California, the winner of a Grammy and an Oscar succeeded in an opening of presentation which included her recent single “Abracadabra”, which had the head microphone cut for a few seconds.
Gaga soon reappears with a hand microphone for the rest of the song, before being transported transparently with a new head microphone for the rest of its whole.
Later at the piano, Gaga apologized for the previous Snafu, saying: “I’m sorry that my microphone was broken for a second. At least, you know how to sing live!”
While the crowd applauds, it added: “I suppose that everything we can do is our best and I certainly give you my best tonight.”
“Abracadabra” is the second single of the seventh solo album of Gaga “Mayhem”, which abandoned last month. The first single of the album, “Disease”, was released last fall.
Still in March, Lady Gaga announced her “Mayhem Ball” tour, which will start on July 16 at the T-Mobile Arena de Las Vegas. The tour will strike Seattle, New York, Miami, Chicago and Toronto throughout the summer, before going to Europe in September.
The artist’s website also has dates listed for “Mayhem” performances later this month and in May in Mexico City, Rio de Janeiro and Singapore.
