Kyrie Irving and the Mavericks had another devastating injury, because the star goalkeeper will miss the rest of the season with a torn LCA.
Irving was injured against the Kings on Monday evening while going to the edge, and miraculously hindered the free throw line and overthrew two attempts before leaving the match.
Unfortunately, it will be the last act of his season, as the Shams Charania of ESPN reported Tuesday that IRVING had torn his ACL in his left knee.
Irving’s injury comes after his new Mavs teammate Anthony Davis – for which the team recently exchanged Luka Doncic – was injured in his first game with Dallas.
Davis was then diagnosed with a left adductor strain, and Charania reported on February 9 that he could go out for as long as a month. He was still in street clothes on Monday when Irving was injured.
Irving, 32, had another strong season for Dallas, with an average of 24.7 points while firing 40.1% from the three -point beach.
