Kyle Shanahan hopes that Brock Purdy does not jump the off -season program less the extension of the contract

The 49ers may or may not have a completed contract With Brock Purdy at the time when the off-season program starts later this month. If they do not do so, there is a chance that the quarterrier does not participate in the voluntary off-season program.

Some players do it during the current negotiations. Some players do not.

Coach Kyle Shanahan said on Tuesday that he hoped that Purdy will not jump for training sessions.

But these are negotiations that take place between the agents and our organization and it is more money and other things. These are not just things you immediately knocked out right away.

“But I think we are going (sign it). I hope we do it. And I hope it will not come to football stuff.”

Purdy, who produced $ 1.84 million last season after a check -out check -based system, enters the last year of his recruit contract. It is expected to earn $ 5.346 million in 2025.
