Kyle Richards Slams Lisa Vanderpump’s Comments About Mauricio Split

Kylie Richards thinks her ex-girlfriend Lisa Vanderpump overshadowed her 2023 split from Mauricio Umansky.

The former “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star, 63, apparently called out some of her former co-stars’ relationships on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast Wednesday, telling host Alex Cooper that a few anonymous people have exaggerated their love for the cameras.

Although Vanderpump didn’t specifically mention Richards, 55, or Umansky, 53, the “Halloween” actress felt like the “hits” were aimed at her.

“(She) was trying to imply that when I was, you know, acting happy, that I wasn’t actually happy – which is an absolute lie, and she knows it,” Richards said on Amazon Live Thursday.

“She’s just doing this to be really mean.” And then she goes on to say, “I don’t say who I’m talking about. I would never do something like that,'” she continued. “That’s always what she does.”

Richards said the “inconsiderate” comments are the perfect example of why “all” of Vanderpump’s former castmates have a problem with her.

“It’s so classic for her,” she continued. “She never changes, grows, or learns.”

The “Vanderpump Rules” star made the shady remarks after Cooper asked her if she “ever knew a castmate’s partner was cheating,” which she claimed she did.

“Well, there’s someone who recently went through this kind of complicated scenario,” she said, noting that they were on “one of the shows” she was affiliated with.

Although Richards thought the comment was directed at her, a few other notable couples with ties to Vanderpump have split in recent months — like Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright and Paul “PK” Kemsley and Dorit Kemsley.

While the “Vanderpump Villa” star admitted that “all marriages have problems,” she called out couples who act like everything is fine on camera despite major problems behind the scenes.

“Anyone who says, ‘He’s perfect my love, and he’s my king’…I mean, fuck you. He’s your husband, get real,” Vanderpump said.

“Then all of a sudden they get divorced, but they say, ‘Oh, I love Bean or my king.’ …Life is not like that. You have two imperfect people living together, which isn’t the case, you know, and it’s bullshit.

She continued: “How many times have you seen that, especially on that show I was on? … Everything is fine. And then, oh, we’re about to divorce or, oh, we just broke up.

Despite the apparent shade, Vanderpump previously shared her support for Richards and Umansky after their split was announced.

“I know there was a lot of love between them. There definitely were, and there probably still are,” she told Page Six exclusively at BravoCon in November 2023.

“So I think it saddens me to see someone who’s been together for so long (separate) because marriage is difficult,” Vanderpump continued, noting that she hoped the estranged couple could “get over it.” .

A day later, Richards told us she “really enjoyed” Vanderpump’s post.

“That was very, very nice of him,” she said.

Richards and Vanderpump were good friends during the early seasons of “RHOBH.” However, over the years, the relationship between the two men deteriorated.

Then, in 2018, the duo’s friendship officially ended after Richards accused Vanderpump of leaking a negative story about her co-star Dorit Kemsley to the press.

The couple ended up getting into a heated argument at Vanderpump’s Beverly Hills mansion, prompting the restaurateur to kick Richards out of her home.

During an appearance on “Watch What Happens Live” earlier this month, Andy Cohen asked Vanderpump if she regretted the decision.

“Oh no,” she replied. “Not only do I not regret it, but I loved it.”
