Kristin Cavallari is not afraid of drawing criticism for his comments on SPF.
THE Laguna beach alum questioned the need to use sunscreen in January, but fans are only just catching wind of her hot shot.
“I don’t wear sunscreen,” Kristin said on the Jan. 16 episode. Let’s be realistic podcast with guest Dr. Ryan Monahana holistic doctor, “and every time I do an interview, I get a lot of crap when I admit I don’t.”
In response to Kristin’s confession, Ryan shared his thoughts on the matter.
“It’s a very controversial subject, it’s so funny, because it’s the sun,” he explained. “We literally spent our entire existence as humans under the sun until about 100 years old. And now (we) spend 93 percent of our lives indoors. The sun is life-giving and nourishing.”
The holistic doctor then suggested “working on your base layer in the sun, (so) you can start to tolerate the sun instead of burning.”
