“Team Lauren” and “Team Kristin” can officially call a truce as the OGs of “Laguna Beach” Kristin Cavallari And Lauren Conrad reunited, ending one of reality TV’s longest feuds.
The former MTV rivals shocked their fans on Saturday when Cavallari posted a photo with Conrad on Instagram, and let’s just say it’s the peace summit no one saw coming.
In the photo, LC wears a white vest and matching pants, while Kristin looks stunning in a black tube top, mini skirt and cropped jacket. “Everyone can now put away their Team Lauren and Team Kristin shirts,” the Uncommon founder James captioned the photo, confirming that the drama is long gone.
Fans flooded the comments with nostalgia and disbelief. “The duo that could heal the world! ❤️,” one person wrote, while another said, “This is HUGE to my millennial heart 🥹.”
Sources with direct knowledge tell TMZ…the OG cast filmed the “Laguna Beach” reunion special for The Roku Channel last week.
Our sources say cameras rolled for two days on a soundstage in Los Angeles and downtown Laguna, where the cast revisited some of their old haunts and even filmed a bonfire scene reminiscent of the show’s early days.
Conrad teased the upcoming project last month, releasing “Let’s Go Back to the Beginning,” alongside throwback photos featuring Stephen Colletti, Lo Bosworth, Trey Phillipsand more.
Initial tension between KC and LC stems from the two stars’ love triangle with Colletti in the early 2000s, but in recent years the two women have expressed mutual respect. Lauren even said she regretted calling Kristin a “bitch” during that infamous Cabo episode, admitting it was her “biggest regret” of the series.
Two decades later, the girls who helped define reality TV series are proving that time truly does heal all wounds.
