New details have emerged on Karen Houghtonthe last moments.
Kris Jenner‘s younger sister died suddenly on March 18 at the age of 65, and the cause of her death has now been revealed.
Karen died of heart problems, with the cause of death listed as cardiac arrest and sudden cardiac arrhythmia, according to her death certificate obtained by TMZ on April 12.
The document cited type 2 diabetes as the underlying secondary cause and further stated that the former flight attendant suffered from bipolar disorder. Karen, the youngest daughter of Mary Jo “MJ” Shannon And Robert Houghton– was cremated after his death.
Last month, Kris mourned the loss of his sister in a poignant tribute on social media.
“Karen was beautiful inside and out,” the 68-year-old wrote on March 19. “She was the sweetest, kindest, most sensitive and vulnerable and so funny. She always felt grateful and grateful for her life and cherished her family and friends and especially her beautiful daughter.”
