Kourtney Kardashian says she had no idea reality show fight was being filmed

Kourtney Kardashian found out the hard way that one of her biggest fights with her sister Kim Kardashian was going to play out on the small screen.

The sisters exchanged nasty barbs over the phone last season on their Hulu reality show, “The Kardashians.” Kourtney called Kim a narcissist and said she hated her during the conversation, while Kim went even lower and revealed that her sister’s young children were coming to Kim with issues they were having with their mother.

On Wednesday’s episode of the reality show, viewers learned for the first time that Kourtney had no idea this awkward exchange was even taking place on camera.

“I just felt like it was filmed, like after the fact,” Kourtney said during a conversation with one of her friends. She said she asked Kim not to use the footage, before backing down.

“I’m like, ‘You’re not using this,'” the Lemme founder said, before acknowledging that the exchange was “too good not to use.”

Kourtney explained that viewers were “really analytical” when it came to her fights with Kim, but insisted things aren’t that deep.

“You know, we are sisters. I think people forget,” she said. “They always say, like on our show, ‘How are they going to get out of this?’ And they pick sides and everyone gets really upset.

“I’m sure a lot of people have had crazy arguments with their siblings. Maybe ours are more extreme,” Kourtney said with a laugh in a confessional. “I really don’t know.”

Kim added that “there’s this huge misconception that Kourtney and I hate each other,” when they “really don’t.”

“The thing between Kourtney and I, no matter how crazy things are, no matter what happens, if she needs something, I’m there. If I need something, she’s there. And it will always be that way, no matter what we go through,” she said.

Kourtney also reiterated that everything is “back to normal” with Kim.

“We get along well, we really connect with the kids,” she said. “I can’t even believe a second of energy was wasted on this (fight).”

Viewers could be forgiven for their view of the sisters’ relationship, as the two aren’t the nicest to each other on screen.

Kourtney and Kim, who are 45 and 43 respectively, got into a physical altercation that was filmed in 2020. Kim said Kourtney scratched her so hard that she started bleeding, so Kim slapped her sister in the face. back.

This came just two years after Kim called her sister “the least exciting to watch” during a heated argument on the family’s reality TV show in 2018.
