Kourtney Kardashian opened up about her and husband Travis Barker’s son Rocky and his sleeping habits.

The Lemme founder recently took to her Instagram Stories to answer fan questions. One was from a first-time mom who wrote: “New mom here. Any advice for a baby who only likes to be held for a nap? »

Kourtney responded to the question by admitting that she didn’t think a baby sleeping in his mother’s arms was a bad thing, as she mentioned that six-month-old Rocky was the same thing. “Enjoy every second!” » her response to the mother’s question began next to a photo of a crib.

“We do the same thing. He never went to his crib. It’s my favorite thing in the world.

Kourtney, who also shares sons Mason, 14, and Reign, nine, and daughter Penelope, 11, with ex Scott Disick, is known for having nannies to help out her family. However, according to her famous family members, she also struggled to “keep them.”

In a 2014 interview with Pregnancy in shapeKourtney explained that she loves “doing everything myself at first.”

“I won’t have a nanny. I am taking two months off and no one is allowed to bother me or talk to me about anything work-related,” she said.

“I breastfed Mason for 14 months and Penelope for 16 months, and I loved it,” she added. “It was a built-in time that the two of us could share alone every day. I had no goals or expectations.

However, during a 2021 episode Keeping up with the Kardashians, she was accused of “degrading” her sister Kim’s nanny, with the Skims founder alleging: “Kourtney, you can’t even keep a nanny.” »

In another episode of their 2019 reality show, Kourtney revealed that one of her nannies quit because her child scratched her in the face. “I no longer have a nanny. In another part of her question and answer session, the reality star spoke about her experience with in vitro fertilization, or IVF. One fan had explained that he had personally undergone six sessions of the procedure and had had no luck. “You’ve had six failed IVFs – how did you find the strength to continue? It’s debilitating,” they asked.

Kardashian responded by speaking from her own experience. “I stopped after a year of trying (five unsuccessful IVF cycles, three withdrawals), my body relaxed and I believed in God’s plan for my life,” his response began.

“Lots of prayers for everything that was meant to be for us. And also a lot of optimization of my health. I know how hard it is to feel like you’re not trying, but believing in God’s plan and saying your prayers is so powerful. All my wishes!”

She clarified in a later post that her pregnancy with Rocky was “100%” natural and not IVF. “I want to be very clear because it seems like my answer to the IVF question may have been confusing,” Kardashian wrote on her Instagram Stories.

“I got pregnant 100% naturally, NOT through IVF… actually, a year after stopping IVF. With God’s blessing on Valentine’s Day.

Kardashian and Barker welcomed Rocky Thirteen in November 2023 after undergoing “super rare” fetal surgery in September.

In the season five premiere The Kardashians explained more details about the procedure outside of an Instagram update at the time. According to Kardashian, the ordeal began when there was a scan of the baby at home and something was noticed that required her to see a specialist.

“The doctor that will come to the house to do the analysis is a high-risk doctor, very detailed and thorough in researching everything,” she said during a confessional interview in the episode. “And something caught his attention: he wanted me to see a few specialists and I had to have fetal surgery where they operate on the baby, which was terrifying.”

Because Barker was on tour with Blink-182 at the time, his mother Kris Jenner had to take him to the hospital although he arrived later.

Kardashian then explained how grateful she was to her team of doctors for taking care of everything as quickly as they did. “I feel so grateful for how everything worked out and the doctors who really helped make the best decisions that really saved our baby,” she said.

The Poosh founder also noted that her doctor made it clear to her that she was not at fault. “She told me: ‘You didn’t do anything wrong, it’s not age-related. It’s like an extremely rare thing happened,” she recalls. “But then I was like, after it happened, I was like God understood. Was good. It’s a miracle and I’m going to be super positive.
