Kody Brown proposes to Robyn: will you be my (only) wife?

Kody Brown officially wants to be a one-woman man.

Not that he has much to say on the matter.

As Sister Wives fans all know by now, Christine Brown left Kody in November 2021. Then, Janelle did the same. Then, Meri and Kody ended their marriage about two years ago.

This, of course, leaves Robyn Brown as the last wife/spouse standing.

On the January 5 episode of the TLC reality show, Kody will agree to, well, reality.

“Will you accept me as monogamous? Kody asks Robyn in a clip shared by Us Weekly, finally acknowledging that his previous life is over and adding:

“Is there anything wrong with this?”

Earlier this season, Robyn sort of admitted that yes, it was a problem. She wondered if she was an idiot for staying by Kody’s side.

In this preview, Robyn becomes emotional and takes a moment before responding to her husband, although she then makes a wish:

“I will always stay with you. I’m just having an identity crisis.

Late last year, Robyn expressed extreme remorse over her family’s failure.

“Kody and I are getting through it and finding a solution, but it feels like there’s been a death,” Robyn told People Magazine about how her plural marriage fell apart , adding of herself and her husband:

“We are both experiencing death separately.”

Moving on to a confessional on this new episode of Sister Wives.

“Yes, I will always stay with him and I love him,” Robyn tells Kody’s camera, admitting, “That’s not what I wanted for my life.”

Robyn, who shares two children with Kody, then tells him in the footage that she’s “just kind of stuck” after all the upheaval in their family over the past few years.

Kody, for his part, tells his wife that he is ready to move on.

“Whatever I did in those marriages, it’s over,” he said. “Whatever happened between me and them, I’m over it.”

To be more precise, when this episode was filmed, Christine had long been out of the picture.

“I’m not going to fix this with Meri,” Kody tells Robyn. “I’m not going to try to fix this with Janelle anymore. She’s done with me.

This last statement surprises Robyn.

“Did she tell you she was done?” Robyn asks about Janne.

“Yes,” Kody responds.

“Do you like (use) these words? “” Robyn points out, to which Kody responds once again: “Yes.”

Sister Wives airs on TLC Sundays at 10/9c.
