According to reports, parliamentarian Mahant Balaknath, who contested the Rajasthan Assembly elections, is considered one of the frontrunners as the chief ministerial candidate.

Balaknath, a Lok Sabha MP from Alwar and aged just 40, is leading from his Tijara constituency.

He also said that the reason for the comfortable victory of the BJP was that the people wanted to get rid of the Congress.

“BJP will get at least 124 seats in Rajasthan”

The Union minister expressed confidence that the BJP would win at least 124 of the 199 seats in the 2023 Rajasthan Assembly polls.

“People voted for the BJP, PM Modi’s positive engagement and leadership… People rejected the Congress,” Maurya said.

“The Congress party has always made false promises, people have seen it in Karnataka, Himachal Pradesh. So they failed. That’s why they were rejected,” he said.

“I am very happy, we will cross at least 124 (seats) in Rajasthan,” the minister said.

“The opposition will have worse results”

Stepping up his attack on the Congress, Joshi said, “If the opposition disrupts Parliament, the results will be worse than what we got today. »

On the Congress victory in Telangana, the minister said, “The Congress benefited in Telangana from the mandate opposition against the BRS; The BJP needs to expand further there.
