Knicks were right to trade RJ Barrett, Quentin Grimes

Of all the players Leon Rose acquired via trade this season to bolster the Knicks’ playoff push, Precious Achiuwa is the leader in minutes, points, rebounds, blocks, assists and almost everything cumulative.

That’s good for Achiuwa, who has exceeded expectations in a contract year. But this above all testifies to the lack of production and availability of the other parts added to the list.

Nearly two months after the trade deadline – and more than three months since the big deal with Toronto – analysis of Rose’s in-season movements can be summed up like this:
