Knicks no match for Joel Embiid, 76ers in Game 3

There was no miracle comeback this time – and there will be no sweep.

The 76ers pulled off a physical 125-114 Game 3 win over the Knicks on Thursday in Philadelphia, ensuring their first-round series will last at least five games.

Joel Embiid scored 50 points, Tyrese Maxey added 25, while Jalen Brunson led the Knicks effort with 39 points.

The series resumes with Game 4 on Sunday in Philadelphia – with a return to the Garden imminent for Game 5 on Tuesday.
