King Charles and Queen Camilla attended the traditional Easter Sunday religious service at the Windsor castle, just outside London – without a sign of Prince William or Kate Middleton, but disgraced Prince Andrew and his ex -wife Sarah Ferguson joining the Royal Party.
The other royal personalities to attend the service included the king’s sister, Princess Anne, the daughters of Prince Andrew, Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice, and the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh.
The Times of London reported that the group had attended Easter morning in the 15th century St George chapel in the Berkshire. This was the place of many royal marriages in the past, including that of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle in 2017.
The newspaper reports that King Charles continues to receive regular medical treatment, after announcing last year that he had received a diagnosis of cancer. Last week, he joked with crowds outside Durham cathedral in the north of England that his healthy appearance was “all smoked and mirrors”.
Charles and Camilla recently celebrated their 20th The wedding anniversary, and Camilla told journalists that it was the work of the king who made him advance, when he continued to recover from a disease. The royal couple should welcome French President Macron during a state visit to London next month. President Donald Trump also suggested that he could visit the United Kingdom in September.
The king’s brother, Prince Andrew, continues to join his family for certain royal events, despite greater controversy appointed as a partner of an alleged Chinese spy. He retired from public life in 2019, following his interview notorious with the BBC when he tried to explain his longtime association with the sexual trafficker Jeffrey Epstein.
