King Charles could travel to the United States to see Archie and Lilibet

While King Charles can see Prince William and Kate Middleton’s three children at the drop of a hat, it’s a different story when it comes to his other two grandchildren, Archie and Lilibet. But in an attempt to spend more time with them, Charles, who has only met Lili once and Archie a few times, may soon be planning a trip to the United States, according to royal author Tom Quinn.

“Charles has had discussions about an official visit to the United States at some point in the future, and there is no doubt that if it comes to fruition, he will make time to visit his youngest son and his little ones. -kids,” Quinn said. The mirror. “But there are mountains of planning to overcome before this becomes even a remote possibility.”

Quinn explained that it is also possible for Charles to make “an unpublicized visit” to Montecito, as he has “privately visited many other countries” in the past. He continued: “It’s certainly possible that he’s making a discreet private visit to Harry and the kids in California. He’s desperate to see them and hates the idea that Archie and Lili won’t remember him as the great – warm and friendly father that he wants to be.

A separate source said The mirror that, as things stand, Charles is “frustrated by the distance” between him and his grandchildren and “only sees Archie and Lilibet during occasional video calls from their parents.”

Meanwhile, Harry is unlikely to take his children across the Atlantic to visit their grandfather and extended family, given his legal battle over losing his police protection British. He previously told the court his children could not “feel at home” in the UK if it was “not possible to keep them safe”.

However, there is still hope, as Harry is reportedly looking for a new property in the UK (he and Markle were already kicked out of Frogmore Cottage by Charles), which could mean King could have more access to his grandchildren in the future. Quinn added that Harry was looking for “a secluded Georgian house” near his father’s Highgrove estate, but apparently nothing suited him.
