King Charles & Camilla Celebrate Easter Amid His Cancer Battle

King Charles III resumes his royal duties.

The British monarch made his first major public appearance since revealing his cancer diagnosis, stepping out with his wife. Queen Camille for the Easter Matins service at Saint-Georges Chapel on March 31.

Charles, who was all smiles at the event, wore a long navy blue coat, matching trousers and a white shirt with a blue tie, while Camilla wore an emerald green Anna Valentine coat dress, matched with Philip Treacy hat and with black suede boots. The king, 75, and queen, 76, were all smiles as they greeted well-wishers outside the church.

The couple were joined by Charles’ siblings Princess Anne, Prince Andrew And Prince Edwardwho arrived with his wife Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh. Andrew was accompanied by his ex-wife and roommate Sarah FergusonDuchess of York, whose appearance marks the first time she has publicly spent Easter with the royal family in more than 30 years.

Prince William And Kate Middletonwith their children Prince Georgeten, Princess Charlotte8, and Prince Louis5 years, were absent for the occasion, while the Princess of Wales continues to undergo treatment following the March 22 announcement of her own cancer diagnosis.
