Kim Delaney, better known for his roles in “Nypd Blue” and “All My Children”, was arrested this weekend, according to the Los Angeles sheriff department.
Lieutenant Jose Salgado, supervising the commander of the Marina Del Rey sheriff post, said Delaney was arrested on Saturday at his residence for suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon.
She was still in police custody from Sunday evening which is expected to be in court on Tuesday for indictment, said Salgado.
His partner was arrested for suspicion of spouse’s battery for offense. He posted Bond and was released, according to the authorities.
CNN contacted Delaney representatives to comment.
Delaney, who won the best support actress in a dramatic series in 1997 for her role as DET. Diane Russell on “NYPD Blue” had problems with the law before.
She was arrested in 2002 for suspicion of driving driving and then pleaded without competition to an imprudent driving offense, according to Entertainment Weekly. She would have been sentenced to two years of probation and would have paid a fine of $ 300. She asked for treatment in 2003 for alcohol abuse.
In 2005, the star of “CSI: Miami” lost custody of her 15 -year -old son after testifying that her mother put his life in danger by leading under the influence of drunk alcohol with him in the car, people reported at the time.
Delaney, who also played in the series “Army Wives”, was escorted from the scene in 2011 after making an incoherent and disjointed speech during an event honoring the former defense secretary Robert Gates.
