So naturally, they loved having the opportunity to see, touch and climb inside fire trucks, police cars, dump trucks and emergency vehicles.

That opportunity presented itself on Tuesday, April 2, with the Murrieta Public Library’s annual Touch-a-Truck event.
From forklifts to large drilling rigs to SWAT vehicles, young people enjoyed touching, pretending to steer and even sitting inside the more than 20 vehicles assembled for the showcase.
The event also included a trackless train ride, food vendors, a live band and lawn games.
