Khloe Kardashian shares her emotional reaction to her daughter’s major milestone
The 40-year-old didn’t filter her thoughts as she pondered the sight of her 6-year-old daughter True Thompson on his way to his first day of freshman year.
“It’s always a whirlwind of emotions when True starts a new school year. This year is a huge milestone for her… freshman year,” Khloe wrote on Snapchat on August 26. “Not gonna lie, I’m really having a hard time accepting the fact that she’s starting her freshman year.”
Noting that she is “so proud” of herself and her ex Tristan ThompsonKhloe, her eldest child, admitted that the milestone also came with “this weird mix of loss and anxiety and fear.”
“I have this undeniable feeling that I’m losing parts of the person she was with every day that goes by,” the Good American founder noted. “The little parts of the person she was are being replaced by new parts that will make up the next amazing little person she will become. And I miss her. All the little versions of her that I knew. Time flies, faster every year, and this new school year reminds me to embrace every moment and make the most of it.”
