Nurmagomedov retired from the MMA after having smothered Justin Gaethje to the UFC 254 in October 2020.
Several years later, a large group of fans still implores “The Eagle” to make a UFC return.
Last October, Nurmagomedov responded to rumors on his potential return to the octagon.
“There is no chance, none. Not even 1%, less (luck),” he said.
“If you need champions, I help my brothers to become champions … We have Islam (Makhachev) as a champion, we have Umar (Nurmagomedov) as the next competitor, we have Usman (Nurmagomedov) as champion – we have a lot of champions.
“I will never miss you because in our team and our gymnasium, we create champions – you will always have champions, don’t worry.”
